Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Manager to work with us on Bright Places, which will be touring from 26 September until 31 October 2026. The role involves managing production logistics, coordinating with creative teams, and ensuring technical specifications for each venue are met.

Fee: £1,500 based on a predicted 6 days at £250/day.

Start date:

3 August 2026. Rehearsals: 7-25 September 2026 in Birmingham. Tech & Open: 24-25 September in Birmingham, TBC, and 26 September in Nottingham.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure designers have accurate venue information for all touring locations, prioritising projector specs and creative captioning set‑up.
  • Prepare all documentation, including production schedules, risk assessments, technical riders, and stage and lighting plans.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to meet design deadlines and ensure all production elements are ready for opening.
  • Liaise with touring venues to provide required documentation and pre-performance information.
  • Manage touring logistics and hand over responsibilities to the touring stage management team.
  • Support the touring stage management team (Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager) as needed.
Requirements

Confident with AV/projection, managing studio-to-midscale tours, and experienced in liaising with venues.
