Account Manager - Large Format Print

About you

You already know the large-format print world.

You understand that an Account Manager in this industry is doing far more than answering emails and keeping clients happy. You’re taking a brief, working out what’s actually possible, getting prices together, speaking with production and artwork, keeping an eye on deadlines and making sure the finished job is right.

You’ll be comfortable talking about large-format graphics, signage and different materials without having to learn the industry from scratch.

Your experience

You’ll already be working within large-format print, signage, display graphics or a very closely related environment.

You could currently be an Account Manager, Project Manager, Account Handler or perhaps an Estimator who has plenty of client contact.

What matters is that you understand the journey from enquiry through to production and delivery or installation.

You’ll be used to putting quotes together, juggling multiple live jobs, speaking directly with clients and working closely with production teams to get things over the line.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll look after your own customers and projects, becoming their main point of contact from the initial enquiry onwards.

There’ll be quotes to prepare, briefs to understand, deadlines to manage and plenty of communication with the studio, production and installation teams.

Some jobs will be straightforward. Others will need a bit more thought around materials, production methods or how something is actually going to be installed.

You’ll also get the chance to grow relationships with existing customers and spot opportunities for more work where it makes sense.

This is an established large-format graphics and signage business in Derby with design, artwork, print, finishing, project management and installation all sitting under one roof.

They work across everything from wall, window and floor graphics through to signage, displays and larger bespoke projects, backed by a proper in-house production facility.

The business is growing, and this hire is about adding another experienced person to the team rather than replacing somebody who has left.
