Customer Service Advisor / Administrator – Construction Industry
Chesterfield £26,400 + Bonus + 31 Days Holiday + Pension
Hours:
• Mon–Thu: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Fri: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor / Administrator to join a global construction manufacturer. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, technical environment — someone confident, reliable, and able to keep operations running smoothly.
If you like problem‑solving, dealing with parts, supporting engineers, and being the go‑to person who gets things sorted, this is a strong long‑term opportunity with a respected industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling customer and engineer enquiries for parts and equipment
* Providing product information and technical support
* Processing orders, quotes, and invoices accurately
* Coordinating dispatch, tracking deliveries, and managing backorders
* Keeping customers updated and building strong working relationships
* Working with inventory teams to monitor stock levels
* Identifying slow‑moving stock and supporting sales activity
* General administration to support the wider operations team
What We’re Looking For
* Customer service or sales experience — ideally from construction, engineering, automotive, or similar technical sectors
* Confident on the phone and able to build rapport quickly
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Practical, proactive, and able to prioritise in a busy environment
* Comfortable working with technical information and product data
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience is a bonus)
* A team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
