We are looking for a confident and proactive Customer Service & Operations Assistant to join a busy and established business.

This is a varied, hands‑on role and would suit someone who enjoys being kept busy rather than sitting at a desk all day. You'll combine customer service and administration with practical operational duties, including getting out and about during the working day.

You'll speak with customers face-to-face, over the phone and by email, coordinate bookings and collections, complete documentation and checks, and support the wider team wherever needed.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and by email
  • Coordinating bookings, collections and deliveries
  • Completing customer paperwork and checking documentation
  • Updating systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Getting out and about to complete collections and deliveries when required
  • Carrying out basic checks and reporting any issues
  • Helping resolve customer queries quickly and professionally
  • Supporting colleagues with the day-to-day running of the operation
  • Managing changing priorities within a busy working environment
What We're Looking For

You’ll need to be confident, reliable and comfortable dealing with different people throughout the day. We’re particularly interested in someone who enjoys a role with plenty of variety and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

You’ll also need:

  • Previous customer service, administration or operational experience
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points
  • Confidence driving as part of your working day
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic IT and administration skills
  • The ability to work at pace and use your own initiative
  • A flexible, hands‑on approach and willingness to support the wider team

If you're looking for a permanent role where you're not stuck doing the same thing every day and enjoy combining customer interaction with practical responsibilities, we'd be keen to hear from you
