We are currently seeking aspiring Landscape Architects and Planners to join our growing team, based at both our offices in Radbourne near Derby and Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, dynamic and fast paced business which is expanding.
Our Head Office is located in the Derbyshire countryside, and our new office is situated to the north-east of the town. Manor Farm Court is in the picturesque Ouse Valley Park and immediately adjacent to the Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve. This is a beautiful office location in a listed barn conversion which benefits from plentiful free car parking.
Location: Derby / Milton Keynes (hybrid working considered)
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000
Role overviewWe are offering an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team, working across design, planning and technical stages on a wide range of landscape projects.
The role will involve assisting senior team members with the preparation of concept designs, presentation material and planning submissions, as well as supporting the production of technical drawings and specifications. You will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery, learning how landscape schemes are developed from initial ideas through to construction on site.
You will be encouraged to build strong design, graphic and technical skills, while developing an understanding of planning processes, environmental considerations and multidisciplinary coordination. The role offers structured support, mentoring and opportunities to progress towards professional qualification and chartership.
This position is ideal for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Landscape Architect looking to grow their career within a practice that values learning, collaboration and high-quality landscape-led design.
Key responsibilities- Assisting with concept designs and presentation material
- Supporting LVIA work and report production
- Preparing planting plans, details and schedules
- Graphic support using Adobe Creative Suite
- Learning technical delivery and site processes
- Supporting senior team members across projects
- Degree in Landscape Architecture
- Strong design and graphic skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
- Interest in progressing towards chartership
