About the Role:

Enlightenment Education is seeking four dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting small groups of pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. These pupils present with challenging behaviour and/or SEND needs, and require consistent, compassionate support to re-engage them in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with pupils in small groups to support learning and personal development.

* Help to manage challenging behaviour with patience and resilience.

* Provide consistency and structure to ensure pupils feel supported and valued.

* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.

* Encourage engagement and progress through creative and flexible approaches.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour and/or SEND is highly desirable.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to remain calm, consistent, and positive in difficult situations.

* Commitment to long-term, full-time work to provide stability for pupils.
