Education Personnel are working with a large, well-established Catholic secondary school based in the heart of Derby City Centre. We are seeking an imaginative and dedicated Art Teacher to join the school from January, delivering inspiring and creative Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is a long-term maternity cover position running until the end of the academic year. You will be joining a vibrant and supportive Art department known for encouraging creativity, providing excellent resources, and cultivating an environment where students feel confident to express themselves.

About the Role

* Teaching Art across KS3 & KS4

* Full-time timetable, Monday–Friday

* Delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire creativity and nurture artistic confidence

* Contributing to exhibitions, enrichment activities, and the wider creative life of the school

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art & Design

* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one through Education Personnel)

* Commitment to supporting the ethos and values of the school
