Join Long Term Futures (LTF) in supporting a nurturing specialist provision in Derby (DE1) within a Multi Academy Trust. We work with children aged 11-16, many with complex behavioural needs. This role focuses on Secondary Education, supporting pupils to engage with learning and develop their full potential. We are seeking a dedicated Higher Teaching Learning Assistant to become part of our supportive team.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the curriculum and school priorities.
• Lead targeted interventions for individuals and small groups to support learning.
• Promote positive behaviour, focus, and engagement in lessons.
• Support learners with time out times and de-escalating techniques.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and the pastoral team to support student development.
