Higher Level Teacher Assistant (HLTA)
Primary & Secondary Schools - Derbyshire
Full-time/Part-time - Term Time

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across a range of schools across Derbyshire, offering day to day, short and long term assignments.  This is an excellent oportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting pupils learning and wellbeing.

The Role:

Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes
Provide classroom cover where required in line with HLTA responsibilities
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and/or KS3 (depending on placement)
Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning
Adapt activities to meet the needs of pupils, including those with SEN
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:
HLTA status (or equivalent relevant qualification/experience)
Experience working in UK primary and/or secondary schools
Confidence delivering lessons and managing a classroom
Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A flexible, reliable and proactive approach
