History Teacher Responsibilities
Teach KS3 History and KS4 History lessons
Deliver engaging secondary History teaching
Follow History curriculum plans and schemes of work
Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement
Support student progress in History learning
Adapt lessons for mixed-ability secondary classes
Work collaboratively with humanities department staff
Provide end-of-day teaching feedback
Secondary History Teacher Requirements
Qualified History Teacher with QTS/QTLS
Experience in UK secondary History teaching
Strong classroom management skills
Confident teaching KS3/KS4 History
Reliable and adaptable supply teacher
Able to start flexible History teaching placements
ECT Secondary History Teachers encouraged to apply.
