At Empowering Learning, we are working in partnership with a large network of Primary Schools across Derbyshire and South Derbyshire and are looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable Primary Teachers to support schools across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and creating an engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities may include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress

Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners

Supporting children with a range of abilities, including SEND pupils

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively

Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents

Contributing to the wider school community where required

Following safeguarding and school policies at all times

Supply roles may involve delivering pre-planned lessons, whilst long-term positions may include planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities.

What We Are Looking For

We are keen to hear from teachers who are:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Experienced in teaching within Primary Schools

Confident teaching EYFS, KS1, KS2, or across multiple key stages

Passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning and development

Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments

Strong communicators with excellent classroom management skills

Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
