Travel and Tourism Lecturer

Reed Further Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to deliver high-quality teaching within a further education setting based in Derby

This is a full-time temporary role covering staff absence, with delivery across Level 1 to Level 3 learners.

• Candidates will be required to complete a micro-teach assessment as part of the selection process

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Travel and Tourism lessons across BTEC programmes
• Plan, assess, and monitor learner progress in line with curriculum requirements
• Support students to achieve their qualifications and career goals
• Contribute to quality assurance processes, including internal verification (IQA)
• Follow safeguarding procedures and participate in vetting and compliance checks

Key Requirements

• Relevant degree in Travel & Tourism or related sector
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering Travel & Tourism (BTEC preferred)
• Knowledge or experience of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
• Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
