Primary Teacher

Primary Teacher – Derby. Agency:
Aspire People. Pay Rate: £140 ­– £190 per day (depending on experience).

Aspire People is recruiting a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to work in a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools across Derby. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexible or long‑term opportunities.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals where required

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs encouraged to apply)
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Is adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about teaching
• Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service

• Competitive daily pay of £140 ­– £190, dependent on experience
