SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Derby
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: Monday 7th September
Duration: Initially until October half term, with the potential to extend for the full Autumn Term
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Enlightenment Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Derby for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEND Hub.

Due to an increase in pupil numbers within the Hub, the school is looking to appoint an additional member of staff to provide consistent support while they complete their permanent recruitment process.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established specialist provision, supporting children with a range of additional needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech, communication and language needs.

The school is seeking someone who is proactive, nurturing and confident, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide the high level of support their pupils require.
