Working as part of an established engineering team, you will assess learners in both workshop and workplace environments, ensuring they are meeting qualification standards and developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for successful careers within the welding and fabrication sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, hold a Level 3 qualification in Welding, Fabrication, or a related discipline, and be passionate about developing others.

The Role

Train and Assess welding and fabrication apprentices against qualification standards
Carry out workplace and workshop-based assessments
Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
Liaise with employers, trainers, and curriculum teams to support learner achievement
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

The Person
Level 3 qualification in Welding Engineering, Fabrication and Welding, or a related discipline
Industrial experience within welding and ideally fabrication
Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and industry standards
Passionate about supporting and developing apprentices
