Business Teacher Excellent Secondary School

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Business Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Derby. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business concepts entrepreneurship and the modern commercial environment alongside a commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5.

Develop schemes of work that promote commercial awareness analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Assess student progress and provide timely constructive feedback.

Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes academic excellence.

Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.

Support enrichment opportunities including enterprise projects and business-related activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Business Economics Finance or a related discipline.

PGCE QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level is desirable.

Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
