Are you an experienced Functional Skills looking for a fully remote role with a supportive apprenticeship provider?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established national training provider for a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody passionate about supporting learners to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications within apprenticeship programmes.

The role is initially offered as a 11-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
The Role
You will primarily deliver Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2 to apprenticeship learners within Business Services programmes. There may also be some lower-level English delivery required, particularly supporting learners with additional barriers to learning.

Delivery will initially focus on 1:1 remote sessions before transitioning into more group-based online delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths sessions up to Level 2, with options to deliver English too!
• Support apprenticeship learners remotely via Teams/online platforms
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs
