Certain Advantage is hiring for Stress Engineers based in the Derby area.
Those roles are on a permanent basis and are hybrid-based.

The Role:

This role is for a Stress Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Leading stress and structural integrity assessments using modern techniques
FE analysis (strength, fatigue, defects, lifetime assessments)
Apply ASME III / ASME VIII, API-579, BS7910, BS7608, R4/R5/R6 codes

The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:

Degree in engineering + Chartered Engineer (CEng).
Stress assessments in the nuclear sector.
ABAQUS (or ANSYS, LS-Dyna, etc.).
Altair Hyperworks or similar tools.
Coding and scripting using languages such as Python.
