EMBS Engineering is currently working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company that offers Fabrication & Machining solutions to lucrative, high-profile industry sectors, supporting some of the world's most recognised OEMs.

Situated on the outskirts of Derby, our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

The successful individual will be joining a talented team of engineers, supporting in the development and growth of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

* Support the delivery of quality, cost and delivery standards

* Maintaining and reporting against KPIs to identify problems and implement solutions

* Support the delivery of NPI projects (New Product Implementations)

* Reviewing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)

* Support internal, 3rd party and customer system and/or process audits

* Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)

What experience do you need?

* Strong Senior Quality Engineering experience, specifically within Aerospace, with NADCAP experience, is essential.

* Experience with in NDT and/or Heat treatment would be advantageous

* Understanding of basic core quality tools - PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA

* Knowledge and problem solving, including root cause, corrective action, non-conformance management and continuous improvement

* Experience in maintaining, improving and developing QMS

* Experience in auditing preferred
