You'll be working as a Mechanical Design Engineer, taking ownership of mechanical design activities from concept through to detailed design and manufacture. The role offers a strong balance of hands-on design work and collaborative project involvement, working closely with fellow design engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers.

Your Role As a Design Engineer Will Include:

Creating mechanical design concepts, layouts, and engineered solutions Producing 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings to ISO and/or ASME standards Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BoMs) and technical documentation Performing engineering calculations to verify and validate designs Participating in internal and customer-facing design reviews Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to support cost-effective and efficient production Supporting projects through the full design lifecycle from concept to delivery Working in line with company procedures, quality systems, and engineering standards

As a Design Engineer You Will Have:

A Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar) Experience with Siemens NX A solid understanding of mechanical engineering design principles and analysis Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, or additive manufacturing Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Good organisational skills with attention to detail Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
