Environmental Advisor

Location: Derbyshire

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Assessor to join this leading civil engineering and construction firm within the rail sector.

I’m currently supporting a growing rail infrastructure business in the search for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their HSQE team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a progressive and expanding organisation that genuinely invests in its people.

The role will involve:

* Environmental compliance and risk management

* ISO 14001 audits and inspections

* Supporting sustainability and Net Zero initiatives

* Developing and reviewing EMPs/ESMPs

* Working closely with project teams, clients, and regulators

* Driving continuous improvement across multiple project

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

* Experience with in rail, infrastructure, or construction

* Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation

* ISO 14001 experience

* Environmental auditing experience

* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable experience:

* Network Rail or Tier 1 contractor project experience

* RISQS knowledge

* PTS certification

* Sustainability and Net Zero reporting experience
