Project Engineer (MEICA / ICA - Water / Commissioning) £70,000-£80,000  Progression  Training  Hybrid Working  Car Allowance  Bonus  Company Benefits Chelmsford Are you a Project Engineer or Commissioning Engineer with a MEICA / ICA / electrical background in the water industry, looking for a technically focused role where you will take ownership of complex commissioning activities across Thames Water projects? This growing consultancy is delivering a high volume of MEICA schemes across the Thames Water framework and requires an engineer who can confidently manage the electrical, instrumentation, control and automation delivery across multiple live sites.

In this role, you will take ownership of projects from design coordination through to installation, commissioning and handover, acting as the key technical interface between clients, contractors and internal teams. This role would suit someone who is confident working hands-on with electrical and control systems, enjoys client-facing responsibility, and is looking to step into a role with real technical ownership across multiple live water projects.

The Role:

Lead delivery of multiple MEICA / ICA water and wastewater projects simultaneously
* Oversee electrical, instrumentation, control and automation commissioning activities
* Manage full project lifecycle from design coordination through to installation and handover
* Attend client meetings and act as technical lead for commissioning and delivery issues

The Person :
Project / Commissioning Engineer with MEICA / ICA / Electrical background
* Experience in the water or wastewater industry
* Hands-on commissioning experience of electrical and control systems (PLC / MCC / SCADA exposure)
* Commutable to Chelmsford Reference: BBBH
