Job Description

This is a standout opportunity to join UL Solutions as an Asbestos Surveyor in a remote role - a role where careful investigation, professional judgement, and strong client communication directly contribute to safer buildings and better-informed decisions.

You will work on a wide range of client sites, carrying out a variety of asbestos-related inspections and producing clear, reliable survey information that clients can act on with confidence. The role suits someone who enjoys being mobile, practical, technically curious and enjoys diversity.

• Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
  264 and ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS procedures
• Predominantly working in commercial and industrial buildings
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites

• BOHS P402 qualification
• Experience working in an asbestos surveyor role
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage own workload independently
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across client sites
• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
• Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work

Salary range varies by location and local market conditions. It is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of base salary.
