As Assystem's Defence business continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Technical Lead to drive the successful technical delivery of projects within our prestigious client account.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you'll play a key role in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence and supporting the continued growth of our Defence business.ð What You'll Be Doingð Providing technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to engineering delivery teams.ð§ Leading the technical direction, solution development and delivery of engineering projects within the account.ð Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.ð

Ensuring all engineers understand project requirements, technical methods and applicable processes.ð Leading Change Control activities across assigned projects. Taking ownership of technical quality, ensuring all project deliverables meet contractual and client requirements.ð Acting as the primary technical point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.ð Reporting on the technical status, progress, risks and performance of assigned projects.ð Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with all relevant technical, quality and regulatory standards, including Assystem and client Quality Management Systems (QMS).ð

Ensuring all engineering personnel are Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) for the activities they undertake.ð¼ Supporting business growth by developing technical proposals, customer presentations and engineering solutions.ð Building and maintaining strong customer relationships alongside the Technical Director to identify and develop new business opportunities.ð Leading the technical aspects of bids and tenders, including defining project scope, methodologies and engineering estimates.ð
