The Role You will be responsible for:
Acting as the technical lead and subject matter expert for renewable technologies, including air source heat pumps and solar PV systems. Diagnosing complex faults, improving asset performance, and supporting repairs teams with specialist technical advice. Developing and maintaining technical standards, procedures, and best-practice guidance for renewable technologies. Delivering coaching, mentoring, and technical training to operational teams to improve service delivery and first-time fix rates.
Supporting long-term sustainability strategies, investment planning, and lifecycle management of renewable assets. Working closely with manufacturers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality installations, compliance, and continuous improvement. About You Significant experience working with air source heat pumps and other low-carbon heating technologies. Strong fault-finding, diagnostics, and maintenance experience across heating systems, controls, and hydronic systems. Experience supporting, coaching, or mentoring technical teams.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, or Building Services. Heat Pump Qualification (BPEC or equivalent), F-Gas Certification, and Unvented Hot Water Qualification. Full UK Driving Licence and strong IT skills. Knowledge of landlord compliance obligations, housing standards, building regulations, and renewable technology best practice. Key Details Salary: £52,471 per annum
