Our client is a boutique advisory firm led by an experienced leadership team from Big 4 backgrounds. Their focus is on delivering high-quality Transaction Services (FDD) and Corporate Finance solutions to mid-market clients, private equity, and entrepreneurial businesses. The firm offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with direct access to senior leadership and opportunities to broaden your skillset.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our growing Transaction Services team. While the primary focus will be on Financial Due Diligence (FDD) for buy-side and sell-side transactions, the role provides scope to gain exposure to wider Corporate Finance activities, including valuations, M&A advisory, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients.
  • Analyse financial statements, working capital, and cash flow trends to identify key deal issues.
  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including detailed FDD reports and executive summaries.
  • Collaborate with clients and other advisors to resolve complex transaction-related matters.
  • Assist in broader Corporate Finance projects, such as:
  • Strategic financial reviews
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Transaction Services / FDD (Big 4 or mid-tier experience preferred).
  • Solid understanding of deal processes and private equity transactions.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Commercial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
What We Offer
  • Exposure to end-to-end deal processes and broader Corporate Finance work streams.
  • Direct interaction with senior leadership and clients.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture with clear progression opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
