Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Description We're partnering with a growing, technology-focused infrastructure business to recruit a Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact opportunity to lead the full acquisition lifecycle, driving an ambitious buy-and-build strategy focused on UK technology and environmental businesses.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of deal origination, financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, due diligence and post-acquisition integration, with responsibility for delivering multiple acquisitions each year.

-Source and originate acquisition opportunities across technology and environmental sectors.

-Build financial models and valuations to assess investment opportunities.

-Lead negotiations, due diligence and transaction execution.

-Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to senior leadership.

-Drive post-acquisition integration to maximise commercial value.

About You-3-5+ years' M&A experience within Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Corporate Development.

-Proven experience delivering acquisitions from origination through to completion.

-Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial negotiation skills.

-Experience assessing SME businesses, ideally in the 500k-3m EBITDA range.

-Confident working autonomously and engaging with senior stakeholders.
