Finance Director - CFO Designate

Job Description On a day to day basis the Finance Director, CFO Designate will be responsible for;

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives.

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive business growth.

Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision.

Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improve financial performance.

Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and decision-making processes.

Working with Group on funding strategies, developing banking relationships and a very high volume of transactions while ensuring adequate capital and liquidity

The Successful ApplicantA successful Finance Director - CFO Designate should have:

Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Extensive leadership experience in accounting and finance within a consumer finance or unsecured lending business.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies to drive business success.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

What’s on Offer Competitive salary ranging from 150,000 to 180,000 per annum.
