Location: Derbyshire (Office Based, 5 Days per Week)
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Reporting to: Managing Directors
The Opportunity
A successful and growing family-owned business in Derbyshire is seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance to lead the finance function and support the next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced finance professional who enjoys operating across all areas of finance, from day-to-day operations through to strategic planning. Working closely with the Managing Directors, you will provide financial leadership, commercial insight and support key business decisions.
For the right individual, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Finance Director role.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Lead the finance function and oversee daily financial operations.
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts and reporting.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections.
- Monitor working capital and overall business performance.
- Deliver financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
