Personal Tax Senior

Our client, based in Eastleigh, is excited to announce that they are looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio while contributing to the continued success of a supportive and expanding firm.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including more complex cases.
• Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns to a high standard.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing advice and resolving queries.
• Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance and support.
• Assist with personal tax planning and advisory projects.
• Liaise with HMRC and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Identify tax risks, opportunities and value-added solutions for clients. Candidate Profile
• ATT qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience; CTA qualification advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
• Experience managing a personal tax portfolio independently.
• Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately calculate tax liabilities.
• Proficient IT skills; experience with IRIS software would be beneficial. Benefits
