Senior DM Planning Officer

Senior Planning Officer London £36-40 p/h Initial 3-month contract, expected to roll on for a considerable period. Job  - 67633 You will join a London Borough Local Authority as an experienced Senior Town Planner, working within one of the area teams on a mixed caseload of planning applications. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, taking ownership of a varied Development Management caseload from day one.

You will be working across a broad range of application types, including minor and major developments. To succeed in this Senior Planning Officer role, you will have strong previous Development Management experience within a Local Authority, with the ability to confidently manage and determine a varied caseload. You will be proactive, solution-focused, and able to apply sustainable development policies effectively in decision-making.

This Senior Planning Officer position offers hybrid working, with weekly office presence required.
