BCP Council is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Appeals and Discretion Team. The role focuses on Discretionary Housing Payments, Benefit reconsiderations, Appeals and discounts, providing advice and guidance to staff.
You will process complex cases, prepare appeal files for Tribunal, and act as a first point of contact to resolve issues, ensuring service standards are upheld. Strong knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support legislation is essential.
