Cambridge Salary: £27,000/£30,000 Are you a recent Planning graduate looking to kick-start your career within an established planning team? I'm currently recruiting for a Graduate Town Planner opportunity in Lincoln, offering the chance to work alongside experienced planners on a broad range of projects, while developing your professional and personal skills through a dedicated graduate training programme. Responsibilities Assist with and prepare planning statements Assist with the preparation of planning appraisals Support the team on larger planning projects Prepare planning applications and appeals Assist clients throughout the planning process Appraise new development opportunities Undertake planning research and analysis Assist with the preparation of Design and Access Statements where required Manage a range of planning applications and monitor outcomes Undertake community engagement Attend planning committee meetings and public examinations Attend site visits and client meetings Assist with the preparation of fee proposals for projects Requirements Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, ideally RTPI accredited Demonstrated interest in planning Previous planning experience is desirable but not essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong motivation and ambition to develop a career in planning Transferable skills are welcomed, with consideration given to candidates who may not meet every listed requirement Benefits 25 days' holiday, increasing by 1 day each year up to 28 days after 3 years of service Life Assurance of 4x basic salary Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave Holiday Buy Back Scheme Long Service Awards Westfield Health Cashplan 1 paid volunteering day each year for a chosen charity Internal graduate training programme Hybrid working policy Full-time permanent position Flexible working options can be considered Interested?
