Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant for night shifts at Southbourne Beach Care Home in Bournemouth.
Responsibilities- Deliver high standards of personal care and support residents’ independence and dignity.
- Assist residents in all personal hygiene care.
- Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and report risks promptly.
- Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
- Practice safe systems of work across various tasks.
Experience is not required; comprehensive induction and training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.
- Efficient working style, able to follow reasonable instructions from team members.
- Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
- Values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
- DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
