• Efficiently cut at least 25 blocks per hour, including complex cases, showcasing your precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct microtomy, embedding, and microscopic quality control of histological samples to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Support clerical duties by booking in samples on the lab information system, as well as performing manual special stains when required, depending on your experience.
• Demonstrate your expertise through a face-to-face interview and practical assessment prior to starting, highlighting your readiness for this vital role.

• HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an alternative qualification in a related field.
• Demonstrable post-qualifying experience within biomedical science, ideally from a UK laboratory setting.
