Are you an experienced qualified pharmacy technician who is looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Homecare Team within the University Hospitals of Derby & Burton (UHDB) Pharmacy High Cost Drugs & Commissioning Team.
The successful candidate will need to have exceptional communication skills, to be conscientious, reliable, well organised, good numeracy and literacy skills are essential and the individual should be able to prioritise their own workload effectively. Experience in homecare medicines services may be beneficial but is not essential. The post allows for self-development and encourages increased autonomy and responsibility.

Main duties of the jobThe candidate will lead, manage and develop the pharmacy operational technical service related to medicines homecare e of the main duties of the role include:
- To provide technical support to the Pharmacy High Cost Drugs & Commissioning Team and other relevant Pharmacy support teams
- To help ensure that UHDB medicines homecare services are of a consistently high standard by regular liaison with UHDB clinical teams, and representatives of homecare companies, including developing new opportunities for homecare services
