HR Officer - Employee Relations

HR Officer - Employee Relations South West London / Surrey Border £22 per hour | 36 hours per week Initial 3-month temporary assignment | Immediate start We are recruiting an experienced HR Officer to join a large, multi-site education organisation on an initial 3-month temporary assignment. This is a hands-on HR role with a strong focus on Employee Relations and case management .

Working closely with Managers across the organisation, you will provide practical HR advice and support across a range of live employee relations matters. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and supporting a varied caseload of Employee Relations matters Advising Managers on performance and capability issues Supporting absence management cases Managing disciplinary and grievance processes Providing clear and practical advice in line with HR policies and employment legislation Supporting Managers to ensure cases are progressed appropriately and within agreed timescales Maintaining accurate case records and HR documentation Supporting the wider HR team as required

About you:

You will be an experienced HR professional who is confident managing Employee Relations cases and advising Managers at all levels. You will ideally have: CIPD Level 5 qualification or above Strong hands-on Employee Relations and case management experience Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Experience supporting performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to manage multiple live cases and competing priorities Previous experience within education, the public sector or a large multi-site organisation would be advantageous You will need to be available immediately or at very short notice and able to commit to the initial 3-month assignment.
