About the Organisation
Join a nationally recognised organisation undergoing a major multi-year digital transformation. With significant investment in modern cloud platforms and customer-facing digital services, the business is rebuilding its digital estate to support new products, smoother user journeys and improved operational capabilities.
You will be part of a forward-thinking digital function with strong leadership support and a clearly defined roadmap - an ideal environment for an architect who wants to shape long-term platforms, influence strategy and embed modern engineering practices.
The Role
As a Digital Architect, you will shape, define and govern the organisation's digital platforms, with an emphasis on Azure and Sitecore-based solutions. You'll work across multiple product teams and delivery partners, ensuring architectures are scalable, secure and future proof.
This is a hands-on architectural leadership role where your decisions will influence key digital services used by large volumes of internal and external users.
This is a 24‑month fixed-term contract with genuine long-term potential, including the possibility of a permanent role.
What you'll be doing
Designing and governing digital platforms built on Azure, Sitecore and surrounding technologies
Defining architectures that align with enterprise standards, cloud strategy and security governance
Working closely with product and engineering squads to create scalable and pragmatic solutions
Influencing technical direction across internal teams and external delivery partners
Driving modern engineering principles such as API-first design, microservices, automation and quality-driven development
Supporting complex integrations across mobile, CRM, digital channels and business systems
Helping develop the future digital blueprint the organisation will build upon for years to come
What we're looking for
Proven background architecting digital platforms in complex environments
Strong technical experience with Azure cloud services and Sitecore (or similar enterprise web/content platforms)
Expertise in API-led architectures, microservices and cloud-native design
Understanding of CRM, mobile and wider digital ecosystem integrations
Solid appreciation of GDPR, data governance and cyber security principles
Certifications such as TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect are beneficial
Excellent communicator capable of influencing technical and non-technical teams
What's on offer
£75,000-£90,000 salary depending on experience
Long-term progression and internal career opportunities
Extensive training and development options
