Marketing Automation Manager Derby (DE21) | Hybrid | 4-Day Week £30,000-£40,000 DOE About the job We are the exclusive hiring partner to a fast-growing UK business that is investing heavily in its systems, technology, and people to support its next stage of growth. With a database of more than 55,000 contacts spanning multiple brands, the business is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to take ownership of its CRM and automation platform and transform it into a genuine revenue-driving asset.

The Role You will take ownership of the business's CRM and marketing automation platform, helping to shape how customer data, communications, and automation strategies support commercial growth. This is not a role focused solely on sending email campaigns and updating records. You will become the internal expert for automation, segmentation, customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and CRM performance, working closely with leadership to maximise the value of the platform.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and optimising the CRM and marketing automation platform Building and maintaining automated customer journeys Developing audience segmentation strategies across multiple brands Creating lifecycle marketing campaigns that improve engagement and conversion Monitoring campaign performance and identifying optimisation opportunities Maintaining data quality, accuracy, and compliance within the CRM Producing reporting and insights to support business decision-making Working with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities Supporting the ongoing development of CRM and marketing processes You will have the autonomy to influence how the platform evolves and how automation supports the wider business strategy.

You will demonstrate:

Experience with large customer databases and multi-brand environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
