Service Desk Analyst (Application Support) – Derby
Location: East Midlands

Overview: 1st/2nd Line Service Desk, Customer Service, .Net, SQL Server, WEB, ITIL, Crystal Reports, Business Objects – Derby, East Midlands – 23‑27K
Responsibilities- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for the service desk.
- Triage and prioritise calls on a busy service desk.
- Resolve software support issues and attempt to fix problems before escalating to the development team.
- Use ERP software such as Dynamics, SAP, Navision to troubleshoot issues.
- Assist with reporting tools like Crystal Reports or Business Objects as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and act as a strong team player.
- Strong background in B2B Helpdesk and Software Support.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Navision) preferred.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, SQL Server, or MS Windows a plus.
- ITIL qualification considered highly desirable.
- Proactive approach to work and analytical ability.
