At Miller Homes we are building homes in a way which allows us to build better places for people to belong to, better homes for customers and better places for communities to thrive and nature to prosper. We are also creating a better working environment for our people. We create better places where people and planet prosper.

We have a brand new role within our Group Partnerships function. The Technical Coordinator will provide the link and main point of contact between the Partnerships Team and the Regional Technical Teams, and external advisors where required, regarding all related technical information and requirements needed to deliver a scheme with our partners. The role plays a critical part in de-risking and enabling Partnerships transactions by ensuring technical information is accurate, timely and aligned with the respective partner (and/or their funders) and all relevant legal requirements.

The role is new to the Partnerships, as such the successful candidate will have a great deal of autonomy to shape and mould the role, whilst also being required to liaise directly with internal stakeholders at all levels across the business and external stakeholders to assist and solve problems efficiently and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Act as the first point of contact for technical enquiries on Partnership deals, owning the coordinator and response

* Act as the technical interface between internal teams, external solicitors and partner technical advisers, ensuring clarity and consistency of information provided

* Support pre-contract technical due diligence for Partnerships transactions, including responding to partner and funder technical queries.

* Support technical sign-off at key transaction milestones (exchange, start on site, completion)

REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience in working for a house builder, ideally with an understanding of Partnerships

* To have an all-round knowledge of technical issues including a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards

* To be able to build close links with key regional functions and external advisors and/or partners

* Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across regions and external partners

WHAT WE OFFER:

* Competitive basic salary + car or car allowance of £5,000 per annum

* 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off

* Opportunity to earn 10% bonus

* Company contribute 6.5% to your pension, and other benefits
