Maintenance Technician, Castle Donington | Permanent | Monday to Friday £27-29k (they are open to either 4 or 5 days)

Are you a practical, hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong DIY skills who enjoys variety and solving problems?
This is a great opportunity to join a busy facilities team where no two days are the same. As Maintenance Technician, you will look after general building maintenance, minor repairs, site checks, vehicles and day-to-day facilities support across a large commercial site.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, can use their own initiative and is happy turning their hand to whatever needs doing.

As Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Carry out general maintenance including minor plumbing, basic electrical repairs, painting and fitting fixtures.
• Complete repairs to buildings, equipment and infrastructure.
• Carry out routine fire alarm, sprinkler and emergency lighting checks.
• Monitor the condition of the building and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Check and maintain company vehicles, including tyres, fluids and general condition.
• Assist with taking vehicles to and from local garages when required.
• Support general facilities tasks including moving equipment and maintaining supplies.
