Part Time Cleaner Required – Derby, DE21 4BJ

Tuesday and Thursday – 4 hours per week 7:30am-9:30am

We are looking for a reliable, professional and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a site in Derby, DE21 4BJ
.

This is a hands‑on, active cleaning role and would suit someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

The role is ideal if you prefer practical work, like staying active and want a clear start and finish to your working day, with no desk work, no emails and nothing to take home at the end of your shift

• Tuesday and Thursday
• 7:30am-9:30am
• 2 hours per day
• 4 hours per week

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school
• Completing daily cleaning tasks across designated areas
• Carrying out occasional deep‑cleaning duties during school holidays when required
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery where necessary
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and to the required standard
• Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or site issues to management
• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures

• Must be able to reliably travel to Derby, DE21 4BJ
  (own transport advantageous)
• Previous cleaning experience is essential
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of COSHH is desirable
• Experience using floor machines is preferred
• At least one reference from a previous employer

• £13.45 per hour
• Permanent position
• 4 hours per week
• Fortnightly pay
