An exciting opportunity to lead Nursing Home
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced, Nurse Qualified Home Manager to join Nursing Home in Derby.
This is a rare opportunity to take the lead at an established 44-bed nursing home and build on the positive work of the existing team. The current Home Manager has made the difficult decision to leave due to personal circumstances, creating an exciting opportunity for a new leader to take the home forward.
Elvaston Lodge is currently rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has received positive feedback from residents and relatives on (url removed).
About the role
We are looking for a confident and motivated Home Manager who can provide strong leadership across all aspects of the home.
The successful candidate will be:
A Nurse Qualified Registered Manager with relevant nursing-home management experience.
A confident and inspirational leader who can motivate, support and develop teams.
Clinically sound, with a strong understanding of high-quality nursing and person-centred care.
Commercially aware, with the ability to manage the operational and business aspects of running a successful care home.
Passionate about delivering excellent standards of care and creating a positive environment for residents and staff.
Able to work collaboratively with the wider Regional Management Team and other key stakeholders.
You will be supported by a Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager, as well as the wider Regional Management Team.
What we offer
Competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
The opportunity to lead an established 44-bed nursing home in Derby.
Support from a Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager.
Support and guidance from the Regional Management Team.
The opportunity to build on the home's existing Good CQC rating and positive feedback from residents and relatives.
A senior leadership role with the opportunity to make a real difference to the home, residents and staff team.
Interview process
The interview process is expected to consist of one or two stages with the Regional Management Team. The initial interview may be conducted via Microsoft Teams, followed by an in-person second-stage interview where required.
