Your new role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes.
- Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Time-served apprenticeship
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
