Overview

We are recruiting a Joinery Prepper to support the lead sprayer and workshop finishing team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow a career in joinery finishing with clear opportunities to develop skills and progress within the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the lead sprayer and finishing team in preparing joinery components for finishing (sanding, masking, cleaning surfaces etc).

* Prepare joinery items for spray coating and other surface finishes, ensuring they’re ready for high quality application.

* Support quality checks prior to finishing to maintain standards expected in bespoke joinery.

* Keep the finishing area clean and organised

* Experience & Skills

* No formal finishing experience required; hands-on attitude and willingness to learn essential.

* Experience in woodworking, joinery or workshop environments is beneficial but not essential.

* Good attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high quality results.

* Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.

* Willingness to train and develop into more advanced finishing responsibilities over time.
