On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Product Make for a 12 Month contract based in Derby.

Job description - the role

What you'll do:

Manufacture components using machining processes, inspect outputs, and respond to errors in accordance with defined procedures.
Support machine tool operations to maintain effectiveness and efficiency, including part loading/unloading, basic tool maintenance, inspection, and management of consumables.
Maintain the working environment of the cell to the highest standards, including asset care, TPM, 5S audits, and sustainment tasks.
Work collaboratively as part of the team, managing workflow within the cell and taking responsibility for producing quality products.
Identify and support continuous improvement activities and uphold high standards of cell housekeeping.

The skills you'll need:

Experience with machining processes and quality inspection.
Basic machine tool maintenance and support.
Understanding of 5S, TPM, and workplace organisation.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
