Hours of work: 39 hours per week
- Perform general duties as required by Management and support the team.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and productive work environment with good morale.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery targets.
- Follow and implement company policies, procedures, and working documents.
- Assist with employee training and quality-related issues, reporting concerns as needed.
- Carry out production work in line with the Skill Matrix.
- Complete required daily updates and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately maintain data, time records, and required systems (e.g., SAP, ESS), ensuring full traceability and paperwork compliance.
- Work to the MRP plan to meet production schedules and report any issues affecting output or workload.
- Competently use production and inspection fixtures, gauges, drawings, SOPs, and quality procedures, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
- Maintain consumables, housekeeping standards, and visible production plans.
- Attend quality meetings and communicate effectively with the Line Manager or Production Coordinator regarding work status and production concerns.
- Competent in the visual inspection methods
- Able to refer to Quality Procedures
- Experience of machining and Fabrication and/or metal parts manufacture
- Able to read drawings and refer to work instruction
- Familiar with NCR processes
- Understand MRP requirements
- Familiar with tooling, jigs and acceptance fixtures
- Confident to use Micrometres, Verniers and digital equipment
- Competent in using equipment in relation to your working area
UK National Security Vetting Status - BPSS, but will accept candidates without, but will have to obtain BPSS within first 3 months of employment
