Bench Joiner

Weareworking with a reputable client based in Derbyshire who require a professional Bench Joiner to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying up to £18.00 per hour(DOE).

Working Hours:
Monday
- Friday
- Day Shift (overtime also available)

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing bespoke joinery items
• Laminating & bonding unitary using contact adhesives
• Edging, veneering, and preparing surfaces for finishing
• Ensuring all work is produced to a high standard of quality and within project deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Skills & Experience

• Competent bench joiner / cabinet maker
• Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Experience working with MDF, plywood, laminates and veneers
• Knowledge of working with solid surfaces
  - Corian / Krion / HI-MACS etc..
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in spraying & topcoats
