A Manufacturing Engineer opportunity has arisen within a well-established precision manufacturing business supplying complex components into highly regulated engineering sectors. Working across new and existing production programmes, you'll develop manufacturing processes, support New Product Introduction (NPI), improve production efficiency, and provide technical support across manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities include
- Developing and optimising manufacturing processes for fabricated and machined components.
Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from quotation through to production.
Creating and maintaining BOMs, routings, works orders and standard operating procedures.
Supporting the design and manufacture of tooling, fixtures, and production methods.
Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost.
Providing technical support while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing Engineer desirable skills and experience
- Previous Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, or Process Engineer experience.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development.
Knowledge of fabricated and machined components within a precision engineering environment.
Experience creating BOMs, routings, work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
A proactive approach to problem solving with strong communication and continuous improvement skills.
